TASK 8 - Analyst

Hi guys! This week we have been doing task 8, which is about the PLE (Personal Learning Environment), and once again I'm going to explain how we have done all the process in order to analyse our experience.

As the analyst I´m in charge of specifying and agreeing the team’s reflection and metacognition process. So...

Firstly, we should talk about the best thing of this week. We all agree that the thing that we have most enjoyed during the development of this task is the first video call, in which we divided our work in a funny way, with music and a good organisation.

On the other hand, we also need to talk about the worst part, if I had to choose one, I would choose that we didn't know exactly how to work with this new concept and it was a bit difficult for us. However, at the end we have finished it in a very good way.

Regarding the group work, the best moment of the week was the several video calls that we have done as we motivated each other. Nevertheless, the worst moment was the stressful part of having to do this task while we were studying for exams and doing other subjects projects.

Talking about the learning process, what we have learnt about this task is how the student's learning process and the teacher's professional development process are student-centred. We have also learnt the importance of creating some permanent channels of online communication for us, as teachers, and our students.

Taking into account our work as a group, I believe that what we have to conserve as a group is being there when someone needs our help, the cooperation and the motivation that we always try to provide to each member of the group.

In addition, we all agree that what we need to improve as a group is being more focused on the main purpose of the task because we tend to misinterpret what Linda tells us to do.

Finally, talking about the connection of the content of this task between the content of others things of our degree, it seems obvious that it is related to everything which refers to learning and teaching process, and it is also related to the majority of our ICT task in terms of using technology as the main tool for developing the task.

As the analyst of our group, I have to say that when we first started the task we understood it in a different way and after exposing it in the class on Tuesday, after the critics, we tried to improve it and corrected all the task. To sum up, I want to say that I'm very proud of my group because all of us try to improve each day to become better learners and teachers.
