This week we have done our second task, we learnt a lot doing the first one but we are still adapting to the tasks rhythm. The worst moment was at the beginning, when we found out we had to present the task on tuesday and we hadn´t prepared anything (we actually didn´t have to do it but we didn´t know it yet) at that moment we were really nervous and under a lot of pressure. However this situation led to what I consider the best moment of the task, after getting really nervous about the task, the whole group started working on it right away. It was great seeing the whole coming together to face this problem, and even though we didn´t really know how to do the task we made good progress.
We really enjoyed making the information map, we didn´t have much information to put on it but it was great trying out Creately and Canva to make it. We have learnt a lot about information maps, its different types and how to use each one of them, specially how to actually make one. We also learnt about diagrams by Ter´s video.
I believe that we need to conserve our team work. Whenever we have a problem, like this week´s, everybody is there to help and contribute. Its really calming knowing that you have this backup, it gives us a sense of safety knowing that we can face any unexpected situation as long as we are together.
On the other hand we could improve our decision making, because sometimes we spend too much time trying to decide how to start the task instead of spending that time on actually doing the task, this make us spend a little too much time to finish the task, but i think we will improve this each week.
This task´s topic can be seen in our lives, for example we can see how our teachers combine technology, pedagogy and content knowledge to teach us and at the same time we will apply what we´ve learnt about TPACK and ACAD on our professional careers.
