Hi guys! This week we have been working on exploring tasks with digitals related to computational Thinking and Coding. Here you have a diary so that you can see how we have been working during this week.
THURSDAY
This was the day when we knew what we had to do during the following week, so we started working on the task as soon as Linda explained it to us at the university on Thursday.
On Thursday evening, we made a Whatsapp video call to understand the activity all together and divide the work.
FRIDAY
The next day, we made another video call to choose the games that we wanted to create according to the task. Each member of our group created a different game and we finally chose the four games that we thought most appropriate for the development of the task: Make a Flappy Game, Barby You Can Be Anything, Dance Party (no computer or devices), and Minecraft (Poor or no internet). Here you can see a video of us doing each of the four games:
SATURDAY
On Saturday, part of the group started answering the questions about the task by a Whatsapp video call.
SUNDAY
On Sunday, we didn't make any video calls, however each member of the group was working individually answering the last questions of the task while we were chatting on our Whatsapp group to cooperate with each other and correct others mistakes.
MONDAY
On Monday, we met at 04.00 p.m. on Whatsapp video call to finish the task. We wrote the podcast script, developed the interview and recorded the audios.
TUESDAY
On Tuesday morning, all the members of our group met again in a Whatsapp video call and we edited the podcast. We took advantage of the time that we had to do the final details of the podcast. So, we were in a virtual meeting all the morning like if we were in Linda´s class (from 11:30 to 13:00).
