TASK 3- Star

Hi everybody! This week, I’m the star of the group tech-ers and I’ll show you our work.

First of all, I have to talk about how the task has been completed. We have read Lemke’s text to highlight the potentialities of digital classroom and we had choose the top four, which were:

• Use digital learning objects to supplement face-to-face classrooms.

• Students enter a flow experience in which they are fully engaged and intrinsically motivated.

• To ensure that students gain knowledge and expertise in navigating, interacting, and learning within digital environments.

• To engage in collaborative work.

And then, bearing in mind all this information, we started thinking about how to reflect what we have read. In order to achieve the result, we had to follow the following steps:

1. Firstly, we informed about our format which was “13 Rue del Percebe Style” from Francisco Ibáñez, and we learned that:

• It lets you understand the whole of a building from a single point of view and these panels aren’t independent, but their dialogues are related to each other. In this case, to the topic of the task.

2. Once we have already know that, we thought about how to create the strips related to the four main potentialities, and it ends up in this way:

• 1.They show something really current that is how online classes have become one of the main ways to receive education.

• 2. It demonstrate at the same time how technology let us to be in touch and work in a collaborative way, but also the downside of the increase of inequality. Specially in children who don’t have enough devices or WIFI.

• 3. Technology has become in an incredible tool to make education more dynamic and appealing.

• 4. On the one hand, we can see how nowadays we have the knowledge and the ability to surf in the internet without problem. Nevertheless, in the case of the grandfather we can observe his inability to understand this way of communication, only to the mere fact that his education was based only on books, as we can see metaphorically on the top of the building.
